When I meet with couples, music is always a key topic. Some know exactly what they want to hear, while others have a feeling they want to create. I use their input to build a custom playlist. But being a wedding DJ is more than just playing songs. It's about reading the room, setting the mood, and adapting the music to keep the party going. We also handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes coordination. We work with couples to plan special moments, create their reception timeline, and then make it all happen. As for our MC responsibility, we guide everyone through the reception, making sure everything runs smoothly and no one misses a thing. We work closely with all the vendors, like the photographer and videographer, to ensure a stress-free and memorable celebration.

A typical wedding day for us is a full one! We begin with an early start and head to the venue around noon for setup. Our team meticulously sets up the equipment and conducts thorough sound checks. We then get dressed in our formal attire, ensuring we're ready at least an hour before guests arrive. This time is crucial for coordinating with the venue staff and finalizing any last-minute details. The reception typically concludes between 1 and 3 am, followed by teardown and packing. We usually arrive home between 3 and 5 am. The wedding day itself is the culmination of extensive preparation. We dedicate hours behind the scenes to creating personalized timelines and, of course, carefully selecting the perfect music for each couple's special day.
